Finished in the original colour scheme of Mineral blue with black leather interior as it left the factory. The UK home market car has covered just 16500 miles since complete restoration and upgraded engine to fast road specification conversion by specialists MG Motorsport.

Featuring triple weber carburettors on match inlet manifold, Filter King fuel filter and Facet fuel pump and regulator.

Engine lightened and balanced with fast road camshaft, modified gas-flowed cylinder head with unleaded valve seats.

Downton exhaust manifold with twin exhaust system.

Competition starter motor and alternator fitted with 12V battery.

Lumenition electric ignition system with competition spark plug leads and Lucas gold sports ignition coil.

Competition overdrive unit and rebuilt gearbox. The car has a recently recondition rear axle.

Completely rebuilt MG Motorsport polybushed uprated front and rear suspension with Spax adjustable dampers on front and lever units on rear. High ratio steering rack.

'Green Stuff' brake pads on front, servo assisted braking system.

High efficiency radiator and oil cooler fitted.

185/65x15 tyres on 5.5 Minilite style alloy wheels.

MG classic leather seats with rear seat removed. Willans full harnesses, Brantz tripmeter and Chubb fire extinguisher in situ.

A recent chat to Doug Smith confirmed this car to be of the best quality and if built to a similar specification today you could expect a bill for £40,000 with an 18 month waiting period.
